Description
By applying as an Arts & Crafts vendor for Octoberfest, you agree to comply with the following rules and regulations:
Booth Setup:
- Vendor spaces are marked in 10x10 ft. blocks.
- Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, tents, and display materials.
- Each vendor must set up in their pre-assigned space only — one exhibitor per booth.
- A vendor booth map will be included in your check-in envelope for reference.
- There are no refunds for cancellations or inclement weather.
Vendor and Booth Admission Policy:
The festival reserves the right to deny any vendor application that does not meet festival guidelines. Examples of disqualifying factors include, but are not limited to:
- Vendors whose applications misrepresent the items they intend to sell. (Note: The sale of alcoholic beverages at arts & crafts vendor booths is strictly prohibited and will be enforced.)
- Booths that promote, sell, or display political movements, social causes, or related literature and merchandise.
- We reserve the right to limit certain types of arts & crafts each year to ensure a balanced vendor mix and support the success of all participants. Festival organizers reserve the right to enforce these policies to maintain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
Sales Tax Requirement:
- All vendors must submit sales tax forms before leaving the event.
- You will receive a tax envelope at check-in with instructions and forms from the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
- A Chamber representative will collect sales tax forms on Saturday afternoon. Failure to submit your completed form may result in rejection from future Cleveland festivals.
Parking & Unloading Instructions:
- Vendors may unload only on Sharpe Street and Cotton Row.
- Do not park in alleyways behind downtown businesses — unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
- After unloading, volunteers will direct you to designated vendor parking, including:
- The parking lot on Chrisman Avenue near Sherwin-Williams, with convenient access through the breezeway.
- Near Planters Bank
Both are just one block from the festival area
